Yoga began more than 3,000 years ago in India. The word yoga translated from Sanskrit as "yoke," or unite, the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga includes physical exercise (asanas), Pranayama (breathing, while enhancing yourself with prana - energy), meditations all of which lead to understand and communicate oin a deeper level with ourselves, and as a result - with other people.
We are teaching yoga ISHTA style - harmonizing and balancing your unique self via yoga practise, taking into account your constitution, the season and time we practise yoga at and the goals you have for your yoga practice. You will leave each class with new tools for your every day life.

Ira is teaching every Wednesday at Yoga Spot - 5:30pm class and private and group classes around the city.
Note, summer time we conduct classes outdoors in Bay Ridge:
Bay Ridge in Shore Rd Park - entrance from Bay Ridge Pkwy on Shore Rd, start of the class 7pm every Thursday (besides August 4):
